April 2023 News!

Happy April!

I am so excited to have a website again after ten years of only using social media and word of mouth to promote my writing! My website is still a work in progress, but it’s great to be able to showcase all my creativity in one spot. I have been so focused on growing Keep St. Pete Lit and raising my child this last decade that my writing has been a slow burn, but not anymore. I have been actively submitting my work to literary journals and I am excited to see my work reach a larger audience. I am busy editing my fourth book of poems and a hybrid book of personal essays and poetry. I am also in the process of writing a book of erotic poetry too. It’s a good full life. ❤️

I recently started a podcast called The Write Life! Episodes 1-4 are now available. It is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and is updated weekly. It’s been a blast creating on this new platform. Thank you everyone who has tuned in so far!

I will be reading my poetry along with several other poets on Saturday, April 29 at The Studio@620. The reading is at 7pm and is in celebration of Keep St. Pete Lit taking over as the publisher of Yellow Jacket Press, which has been publishing chapbooks by Florida poets since 2008. The event is a part of the City of Writers’ Poetry Festival taking place in April. Please come if you can!
